Traralgon Deaf Facility
The Traralgon Deaf Facility was established in term four 1995 to provide Deaf or hearing impaired students in the Latrobe Valley and surrounding districts the best possible access to mainstream education. The students are provided with extra support to help meet their specialised needs, whilst they participate fully in Liddiard Road Primary School's program.
The facility is staffed by qualified Teachers of the Deaf and signing aides when appropriate. Both oral and Auslan communication options are available for students.
