WELCOME BACK

We hope that everyone had a fantastic Easter and Holiday break. This will be another exciting term here at LRPS with a number of events and excursions planned including:

SHARON SANDY RETIREMENT

Sharon Sandy retired at the end of last term after more than 20 years of service to our school.

From her early days as a parent in the 90’s to becoming the heart of our wellbeing team, Sharon has helped shape a community built on care, connection and compassion. Sharon created something truly special—supporting students, families and staff through both the everyday moments and the most challenging times. Her empathy, strength, humour and unwavering dedication have left a lasting mark on us all. I’m sure that I speak on behalf of our school community in wishing Sharon all the best in retirement.

GIVE A DAMN GIVE A CAN

The Junior School Council will once again be running the ‘Give a Damn Give a Can’ initiative over the coming weeks. There will no doubt be stiff competition between classes and units to see who can collect the most cans. Last year we were amongst the most prolific collector of cans compared to all local schools. Rotary will be collecting the cans between May 18 -22. Let the competition begin!
