At Friday’s assembly the following students were presented with their Principal Awards. We congratulate the following on their achievements: Nelle Murphy, Hope Parker, Evie Campbell- Jarvis, Lucas White, Elijah Chapman, Ethan Ilaifi, Willow Flinn, Lachlan Sampieri, Evie Interlandi, Lewis Winmar, Dakota James, Emi Stewart and Ava Harlen.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL AWARDS

Congratulations to both Zayden Ellis and Mason Henning on receiving their Assistant Principal Awards.

Just a reminder that this 8-session program will occur over two weeks and be held at the Ford Swim Centre. We believe that the program offered is exceptional in terms of developing swimming and water safety skills.

The Open Day morning was successful in showcasing the talents and skills of our student body. Our senior school leaders shared a presentation and showed our prospective 2027 Prep Parents around the school. They were confident, well organised and excellent examples of the citizens here at LRPS.

We had a good turn out on Tuesday night to the Open Night. The children and parents appeared to really enjoy themselves as they went around to each classroom, participating in maths games. We thank everyone for once again supporting such events.

The 2026 Attitudes to School Survey is currently being conducted for Year 4-6 students. This annual student survey collects data to support student wellbeing, engagement, school improvement and planning in schools. Data collected will help our school gain an overall picture of student perceptions of school and their learning.

We are coming into the last week of our can collection for The Traralgon Rotary, St. Vincent de Paul and most importantly, needy families. Once again, our school community has risen to the challenge and been extremely generous in its support of this appeal, with 930 cans collected at this point.

We have a planned School Council student free day organised for Friday June 5^th. Staff will be involved in some professional learning on this day.
Students will not be required to attend school on this day.
