COVID Guidelines

As you would be aware, we are implementing some new Covid protocols as set out below this term.

Rapid Antigen Tests

  • Students and staff will need to be tested twice a-week.
  • We advise for students to be tested at home on Sunday nights and Wednesday
  • If RAT tests have not yet been collected, they can be picked up from outside the office prior to school commencing Monday morning. Otherwise, RAT tests will be sent home in student bags.

Reporting and managing positive results

  • Where a positive result is recorded by a student on a Rapid Antigen Test, parents/carers must report that result to the Department of Health via the COVID-19 Positive Rapid Antigen Test Self-Reporting Form or call centre on  1800 675 398.
  • Parents/carers must report the result directly to the school.
  • Any student who has tested positive must isolate for 7 days.
  • There is no requirement to report a negative result.

Masks

  • Students in Grades 3-6 are required to wear masks indoors.
  • Students in Grades Prep-2 are strongly recommended to wear face masks indoors at school.

Parents & Carers Onsite

  • For the first 4 weeks, it is strongly recommended for parents and carers to drop off students at one of our school gates, where they will be welcomed by a staff member.
  • At this stage, no parents or carers can enter any of the school buildings expect for out office area when necessary. Please be advised that to enter the school office you must show proof of your double vaccination and, QR code in and wear a face mask.

We thank you for your ongoing understanding, support and cooperation with these new guidelines provided by the Department of Education and Victorian Government.
