PRINCIPAL AWARDS

Congratulations to the following students, who received their Principal Awards at assembly this week. ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL AWARDS

Congratulations to both Hayley Smedley and Jett Whiteley, who both received Assistant Principal Awards at assembly this week.



2023 ENROLMENTS

We are starting the process of determining grade structures this term, so we are really wanting to confirm student numbers for the 2023 school year. If you know of someone who is yet to enrol their child for 2023, can you please encourage them to contact the school ASAP. Conversely, if you are not planning to be here in 2023, can you let us know for planning purposes. Thanks in advance.



KINDER/PREP TRANSITION

Our Prep Transition Program will commence this term, with a number of sessions being held for our 2023 Prep enrolments. Here are the key dates:

  • Tuesday 17th October 2.15pm – 2.45pm
  • Tuesday 24th October 2.15pm – 2.45pm
  • Tuesday 8th November 2.15pm – 2.45pm
  • Tuesday 15th November 2.15pm – 2.45pm
  • Tuesday 22nd November 2.15pm – 2.45pm
  • Tuesday 29th November 2.15pm – 2.45pm
  • Tuesday 6th December 2.15pm – 2.45pm
  • Tuesday 13th December 9.00am – 10.30am (State – wide Transition Day)


3 / 4 WOORABINDA CAMP

Our Grade 3/ 4 classes will attend the Woorabinda Camp next week. This camp provides the students with the wonderful opportunity to socialise and participate in a number of outdoor activities including bush cooking, flying fox, initiative games and much more.

 



COVID INFORMATION

The Victorian Government has announced the end of the Pandemic Declaration and associated Pandemic Orders.

The following settings, based on advice from the Department of Health, will apply from 11.59pm Wednesday 12 October 2022.

It is strongly recommended that students:

  • who test positive to COVID-19 stay home and isolate for 5 days
  • should not attend school after 5 days if still symptomatic
  • who are symptomatic but have not tested positive should not attend school
  • advise the school of the COVID-19 positive test result

Where students become symptomatic at school they should:

  • be collected by their parents/carers
  • undergo testing for COVID-19


PUPIL – FREE DAY (Monday October 31st)

Monday 31st October is a School Council student - free day. Staff will be involved with assessment and reporting and as such, students will not be required at school. The same applies for Tuesday November 1, as it is a Public Holiday (Melbourne Cup Day).
