NAPLAN

The Naplan data is in and it looks like we have performed quite well compared to similar schools in most variables. Individual Naplan reports were sent out earlier this week.

PARENT OPINION SURVEY

Monday 7 August to Friday 8 September 2023

Just a reminder that the Parent Opinion Survey is currently being offered to parents on line. It is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of parents’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour and student engagement. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies.

This year the Parent Opinion Survey will finish on Friday September 8th.

Our school is conducting a survey to find out what parents / caregivers / guardians think of our school. This survey offered is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional but we encourage all families to participate. Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies.

The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones

BOOK FAIR

Monday 31st July and will be here until Friday 4th August.

Every Scholastic Book Fair is packed with a multitude of genres, including fantasy, classics, reference, award-winners, humour, nonfiction and mystery. We believe the best selection encompasses books suitable for both girls and boys within each age group, captures their imaginations and excites them about reading.

Student will have an opportunity to browse the books with their class and fill in a wish list with titles of books they are interested in.

Payment is online through Payments | Scholastic Australia or scanning the QR code on the pre-payment form.

The online Book Fair Payment portal allows you to pre-pay for titles from the Book Fair you selected with your child. A receipt number will display so you can complete the Payment Form. This form must be returned to the school office with the receipt number.

Eftpos and cash payments will be available at the school office if required.

Orders will be filled and delivered to students approximately two weeks after Book Fair closing.

PLEASE NOTE - All payments and forms must be returned to the school office by Monday 7th August. No late orders can be accepted.

A special thanks to Kim Charleston and her crew of helpers for coordinating and supporting this initiative!
