Learning Technology

We are committed to providing our students with the most up-to-date technology to enhance their learning experience. At Liddiard Road Primary School, we integrate technology into the curriculum to foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.

Modern IT Devices: As part of our ongoing investment in technology, we have entered into a four-year lease agreement, starting in mid-2020, to provide modern IT devices for all Year 3 to Year 6 students. These devices are used to enrich learning across all subjects and are complemented by existing devices available for younger students in Prep to Grade 2.
ICT Lab Sessions: Students in Years 1 to 6 participate in weekly ICT sessions in our computer lab, where they develop digital literacy and technology skills with the support of our dedicated ICT teachers.
Interactive Whiteboards/Panels: All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards, allowing for dynamic, engaging lessons that incorporate multimedia and collaborative tools.
Cameras, Video, and Recording Equipment: Students use a range of multimedia equipment to create digital content, presentations, and projects that enhance their learning experience.
Educational Software: Our classrooms are equipped with a wide range of educational software designed to support and develop skills in literacy, numeracy, STEM, and more.

School Security

In addition to our academic and extracurricular focus, we take the safety and security of our school community seriously. External CCTV cameras are in place around the school grounds to help prevent vandalism and theft, ensuring that our students and staff can enjoy a secure and protected environment.
